When:

Venue:

Have you heard about Neurodiversity recently? Are you curious to learn more?
As part of Birkbeck's ongoing effort to increase awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace, we're delighted to run this virtual session so you can get an introduction to this vital area.
The session is designed to provide you with a clear and practical introductory understanding of neurodiversity and is a great way to get the neurodiversity conversation started in your organisation.
Using examples from real life and highlighting successful neurodiverse people, the session will ensure participants:
• Gain an introductory understanding of neurodiversity
• Recognise how the strengths of neurodiversity can benefit your organisation
This session will be delivered by Daniel Aherne, Founder of Adjust
After you have registered for the event you will be sent details on how to access the virtual platform.
This event will be followed up by an in-person session later on in the year, where we will take a look at the recruitment of neurodiverse individuals and share details of Birkbeck’s Ability Programme, in collaboration with Birkbeck Futures and Birkbeck's Disability & Dyslexia service.
*Please note that this is an event for employers. If you are a student, please get in touch with the Ability team at employability@bbk.ac.uk to find out about student and graduate specific workshops relating to disability and neurodiversity*
