Bright Sparks is an event run by members of the Centre for Educational Neuroscience (CEN). It is a fantastic opportunity for children aged 5-11 years old to find out more about the brain, while also taking part in real scientific research. Children will spend some time in 'The Hub' where they can learn about the brain through puzzles, games and craft activities. They can also get involved with a range of research activities run by the Bright Sparks research team. This will help us find out more about children's learning, including creative thinking, spatial thinking, and learning in science and maths.
Dates 9.30am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm on 31st May-2nd June
The event is free to attend, but booking is essential. Visit the website for more information and to book. All researchers and helpers have been DBS-checked, and there is a high ratio of adults to children.
