    Biography

    Noriko Inagaki completed her PhD in sociolinguistics at Kings College London in 2008. Thesis title: Linguistic politeness beyond Modernity. (available on KCL website). She currently teaches Japanese 5 at Birkbeck. She also works as a public service interpreter.
