Global Politics Security Review published
14 December 2009
The Global Politics and Security Review brings together six of the best Master's dissertations by students from Birkbeck's Global Politics and International Security and Global Governance programmes.
Edited by current MSc students, the 2009 edition contains six essays, selected on the basis of academic excellence and subject matter. They cover key political and social issues of our time in the international arena: the interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan – with their implications for state-building and contemporary warfare - as well as cutting analyses of civil liberties in Afghanistan, human rights in Myanmar in ASEAN and the 'securitization' of migration policy.
