COVID-19 VACCINATION
The COVID-19 vaccination is being offered to everyone aged 18 or over in the UK for free, regardless of their nationality or immigration status. Once you have registered with a local GP in the UK, you can book your first and second COVID-19 vaccinations if required.
You can find more information for students in the NHS vaccination FAQs.
PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM
Before travelling to the UK, you must also complete a Passenger Locator Form. The form must be completed 48 hours before you travel.
You will need to show your completed form when you check in to travel or board your plane, train or ferry to the UK. You may be fined if you have not completed the form by the time you reach the UK border. You also may not be allowed to enter the UK.
To find out more information about the Passenger Locator Form, and to complete it before you travel to the UK, please visit the UK Government website.
Accommodation - term time
Our rooms in the University of London’s halls of residence are near to our campus, so you’re never more than 15 minutes from our teaching, and social facilities. If you’re studying full time, you can apply for a room at the intercollegiate halls.
If you have applied for accommodation, met the conditions of your course offer and accepted your place at Birkbeck, you will be contacted by email to confirm your accommodation. We will always do our best to meet your preferences if your specific room type is available.
