Lord Marshall Memorial
The Lord Marshall Memorial Lecture was held annually from 2013-2021 to commemorate international businessman and former Chair of Governors at Birkbeck, Lord Colin Marsh Marshall, Baron Marshall of Knightsbridge. Among his business achievements, Lord Marshall led British Airways from 1983 – 2004, first as Chief Executive and later as Chairman. He was also President of the CBI from 1996 – 1998.
Birkbeck's former Department of Management hosted the lecture and each year a distinguished speaker from the world of business was invited to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. Further information on each of the lectures delivered in the series can be found below.
