Overview

Our Introduction to Greek I short course is suitable for beginners. It is ideal if you are seeking specialist teaching adapted to your needs, but you don’t have any prior knowledge of Classical Greek. We will cover the foundations of Classical Greek grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary.

Teaching on the Introduction to Greek I course is vibrant and varied. Each class includes grammar guidance and practice in reading Greek. We will cover new grammar points every week, as well as translation practice and simple English into Greek composition.

Introduction to Greek I is the first of two courses, so you can follow it with Introduction to Greek II. Both courses can also be taken separately, depending on your proficiency.

Please note: each weekly session will be two hours in length and run from 6pm to 8pm.

This course is non-credit bearing, so carries no credit points.
