• Assessment: a 1500-word literature review (50%) and a 15-minute presentation (50%)

This module provides you with the skills needed to prepare for the writing of your dissertation. You attend a series of dissertation workshops designed to help you develop your project, including how to access and engage with research materials, how to develop a project proposal and plan, and how to engage productively with feedback from peers and supervisors. You will then produce a literature review and give a presentation on your topic.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• utilise the research skills needed for the production of a dissertation
• produce a literature review
• present your research to others and engage with peer feedback.
