Module description
In this module we explore the nature of the creative and professional life of a writer and of the creative writing industries. You will gain insight into how writers and other professionals launch, develop and sustain their careers in the industry as well as an understanding of the publishing, performance and broadcast industries in which writers' work is produced and the various roles performed therein.
You will have the opportunity to attend talks given by leading professionals from the writing industry such as authors, literary agents/editors, poetry editors, theatre literary managers, radio and TV producers.
