Creative Digital Branding

  • Credit value: 30 credits at Level 7

  • Assessment: a 2000-word essay or critique (30%), a three minute final project pitch (10%) and a social media campaign plan which includes a pilot video and a 2500-3000-word report (60%)

Module description

In this module you will gain practical analytical skills in digital branding as well as experience in sparking your creativity, with workshops in interactive storytelling, content production and visual creation.

Throughout the module you will author and create original content for branded campaigns. Together we will approach hands-on activities such as content production, strategic messaging, video creation, production and editing emphasising strategic creativity to drive brand goals.

This module provides practical experience in strategies and tactics needed to be an effective brand storyteller, including digital content created for social channels, owned media and paid advertising.
