Module description

This module provides the opportunity to use skills acquired on the course by undertaking a placement in an arts-related organisation. It will give you the chance to develop a range of professional skills and apply theory to ‘real-life’ situations.

In the term preceding the work placement you may attend preparatory sessions including CV and cover letter preparation, interview preparation and a briefing on available placements. You will then attend an interview, which may involve representatives from the partner organisation.

During the placement you will also attend two seminars to discuss your progress and chosen project topic.

Placements are usually offered on a part-time basis, 2-3 days a week over 10 weeks.
