Module description
On this module, you will develop a broad familiarity with a range of research methods used in international development and social anthropology, their data collection and analytical strategies, and their underlying epistemologies. You will develop the skills to write a comprehensive critical literature review and understand the links between research questions and research methods. You will understand how to collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data. You will learn about ethical issues relating to international development research, and be able to engage critically with the key debates surrounding research in international development.
