Dissertation MSc PPE Philosophy

• Assessment: a 10,000-15,000-word dissertation (100%)

You will complete a supervised dissertation based on an independently chosen research topic in philosophy, potentially also informed by your studies in politics and economics. This will allow you to extend your understanding of ideas encountered in the taught courses and to develop themes for further research. As well as gaining subject-specific knowledge, you will be able to analyse an issue in depth and present your arguments coherently through the dissertation.
