What does it take to break into the charity sector? What kind of opportunities are available? And how can you be successful in applying?
Laura Espin, Recruitment Adviser at Macmillan Cancer Support, has the answers!
Laura is responsible for recruitment across all functions of the charity including Fundraising, IT, Finance, Policy, Services and Marketing.
Macmillan's ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. Recruiting the best people into the organisation enables Macmillan to achieve just this.
The workshop will look into breaking into the charity sector and the route that you can take to find a suitable role. It will be followed by an application clinic on March 16th that will cover how to write a supporting statement and what the hiring manager is looking for in a great one!
***Macmillan are currently recruiting for the following roles: Media & PR Officer, Data Insights & Analysis Team Leader and Events & Stewardship Officer. Emailtalent@bbk.ac.uk to express your interest and request further information.***
