The event proposes a discussion on the intersection of political philosophy, aesthetics and normativity taking the Brazilian film Bacurau (2019, Nighthawk) as a starting point to think of other ways of resistance and performativity.
The event is hosted by the School of Law, with the Centre for Law and the Humanities and organised by Bruna Bataglia, Başak Ertür and Moniza Rizzini Ansari.
There will be a viewing of the film, followed by a discussion. You can view a trailer of the film here.
