The Vasari Research Centre for Art and Technology and the Birkbeck Institute for the Moving Image (BIMI) present the third session in an ongoing series of events, curated by Joel McKim and Esther Leslie, exploring multiple dimensions of digital animation.
This event looks at the film A Scanner Darkly created through an computer assisted animation process known "interpolated Rotoscoping" and opens up into a discussion of the work of Phillip K Dick. Joel McKim will lead a discussion between Dr Caroline Edwards (Birkbeck) and Dr James Burton (Goldsmiths).
