NB: is a performative text work about the radical potentials of plurality, shifting, and occupying multiple spaces. The text will start its life online and will gradually transition out into the real world, to exist and move amongst us. 

Hester Chillingworth makes performance work, installations and texts.

Their work is playful, low-key and interventionist, and uses mundane and functional materials that anyone can lay their hands on. Their work elevates the everyday, while remaining accessible.

Hester's work plays with language, interpretation, duration, mischief and confusion.

Hester is a 2020 Jerwood New Playwright at The Royal Court Theatre and a Fellow of the
Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre.
