Birkbeck has launched a new programme, 'Birkbeck Inspires', a free online events, activities and resources programme designed to inspire learning, provoke thought, and entertain and excite curious minds.
Providing society with healthy diets from sustainable food systems is an immediate challenge. But should governments be allowed to reduce consumer food choice by legislating that food producers and retailers supply exclusively healthy foods from sustainable food systems? Fred A. Yamoah, Sustainability and Food Marketing Researcher, will be delivering a live talk focussing on the reasons behind UK consumers’ decisions to support or reject reducing food choice in favour of healthy diets from sustainable food systems. There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer session with Fred A. Yamoah.
Follow Birkbeck, University of London, on Facebook for regular updates on the series and visit www.bbk.ac.uk/birkbeck-inspires for content as its released as well as timings of future bookable live events.
