Birkbeck Classics Society welcomes renowned classicist, writer and broadcaster, Professor Edith Hall
A professor of Classics at King's College London specialising in ancient Greek literature, Edith Hall is one of the world's foremost academics in the subject, and her studies on class, gender and ethnicity have proved invaluable to the wider approach of ancient world culture.
In this talk Prof Hall will share her views on some of the central academic theories of Ancient Greek Culture, as well as her own personal academic journey and the inspiration behind her writing. There will be ample opportunity for questions and discussion as the event will be very much a interactive event.
