Evidence-Based Human Resource Management – where are we now?

When:
Venue: Online

No booking required

Change and uncertainty are now a pervasive feature of our working lives and this brings unique challenges to Human Resource Management (HRM).

Evidence-based HR is a purposeful approach to decision-making that equips HR leaders to navigate their uncertain environment. It involves adopting a decision-making process that critically evaluates multiple sources of data, experience and expert opinions to ensure the decision’s most successful outcome.

This event offers an opportunity to reflect on evidence-based practice in HRM: where are we now? How far have we come? How can practitioners embed evidence-based practice in their work?

Chaired by Professor Julie Gore, Programme Director of Birkbeck’s new Professional Doctorate in Evidence-Based HRM, the webinar will begin with reflections from David D’Souza, Membership Director of the CIPD and Professor Claire Gubbins, Professor in Organisational Behaviour and HRM at DCU Business School, Dublin City University before opening the floor for discussion.

The event is open to all who have an interest in HR and evidence-based practice.

Please note: This event is free to attend but booking is essential. You will be sent joining instructions by email at least 24 hours before the event.
