Birkbeck's Department of Film, Media and Cultural Studies hosts a series of annual talks with artists, curators, festival programmers and various cinema practicioners which focus on their own unique creative practice within the realm of contemporary film culture.

The evening consists of a 30-45 minute talk byKeith Lodwick, including film clips, followed by a Q&A with the audience chaired by Professor Ian Christie.

Keith Lodwick is Curator of Theatre and Screen Arts at the V&A's Department of Theatre & Performance. At V&A Lodowick curated the Vivien Leigh Exibition.

Before joining the V&A, Keith trained as a set and costume designer at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Keith's stage adaptation and design for Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber won a Herald Angel Award at the Edinburgh Festival.
