Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Policy - CIMR Workshop

When:
Venue: Birkbeck Main Building, Malet Street

No booking required

The purpose of this interactive workshop is to take forward policy debates around innovation and entrepreneurship in the UK and international contexts. This is part of a series of workshops seeking to bring together policymakers, practitioners, and academics around key subject areas.

It builds on previous CIMR events on innovation-based economic growth by debating the challenges faced by policymakers, with a view to articulating their needs where academic research can help frame future policy instruments.

The workshop will consist of two sessions. In each, a policymaker will present on their current challenges. Then, a panel of discussants will provide a critique of the thinking and practice of those themes. Finally, other workshop participants will contribute to the debate.
