Fiona Macmillan
Fiona Macmillan holds the Corporation of London Chair of Law at Birkbeck, University of London and is Visiting Professor in the Department of Law at the University of Roma Tre and the Faculty of Law at University of Technology Sydney. Her research and publications span cultural property, intellectual property and international economic law. Her most recent books are Intellectual and Cultural Property: Between Market and Community (Routledge, 2021) and Western Dualism and the Regulation of Cultural Production (Brill Research Perspectives in Art and Law, 2021).
Henrique Carvalho
Henrique Carvalho is a lecturer at the Birkbeck Law School. He teaches intellectual property law at Birkbeck and his research focuses on the history, theory, and political economy of intellectual property law. He has recently completed his doctorate with the thesis ‘Abstracted objects: the vernacular metaphysics of copyright law’ (2022).
Guido Comparato
Guido Comparato is a Senior Lecturer in law at Birkbeck, University of London. He holds a PhD from the University of Amsterdam and was a researcher at the European University Institute. His research interests are in the areas of comparative and European private law.
