Unlocking the Archives: Migration in the Sound Collections

When:
Venue: External

Join this event and hear a selection of clips that reflect on people’s personal stories which have been used to make connections to the British Library, its history and physical spaces.

There will also be a chance to consider how these sound archives can be used as part of researching and interrogating themes of home, migration and settlement. There will also be a practical session on searching and using the catalogues, and examples of how they have featured as part of a series of new digital resources.

This event is part of Migration: a public history festival, a series of lectures, exhibitions, workshops and walks around London, supported by the Raphael Samuel History Centre.
