Greece has been at the forefront of the huge (some said ‘existential’) crisis that hit the Eurozone in the late 2000s. Three adjustment programmes later, the European Commission (the EU’s main executive institution and a key actor in the EU’s response to the crisis) has published its long-awaited evaluation report on this very difficult experience.
What are the key aspects of this report and what are the main lessons drawn? This is the central question that will be discussed in this forthcoming Jean Monnet event that will take place on 6 July 2023 (6-8 p.m.) at Birkbeck. The event will be accessible both physically and online.
- Chair: Dr Dionyssis G. Dimitrakopoulos (Birkbeck)
