Would you like to apply for any of our undergraduate degree courses? It doesn’t matter if it’s still just an idea or if you’ve found your dream course, and want to know how to get a place, Get Started is for you!

Money can be a concern for many prospective students but it shouldn’t have to be a barrier; there is lots of help and support available! Student finance can seem complicated, so we’re here to make the process much more straightforward, with this free, friendly session delivered by Birkbeck’s Student Advice Service. They spend their days helping students to work out their options in relation to fees and finance, and can answer questions and address any concerns you might have.

This free and friendly workshop, Student Finance, will:

  • provide an introduction to student loans and financial support available from the government, and how to apply for them
  • outline Birkbeck’s bursary packages, available for students who are most in need
  • go through the student loans repayment process, including when repayment commences, interest applied and typical proportions of repayment. 

The workshop is open to those who are applying for an undergraduate course, and are looking for help and guidance on student finance.
