Join us for a Diwali celebration organized in collaboration with Birkbeck's Indian society.
Diwali is a festival of lights. It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".
Expect lots of music, colors, lights, and traditional food.
We will have an arts workshop at 2:30pm, prior to the official event's start.
Join us to learn how to create Rangoli - an ancient art form from India.
The event will officially kick off with a welcome speech by Professor Sanjib Bhakta at 3pm.
