In this online taster session, we will introduce you to the MA in Digital Media Management, where you will get the opportunity to hear from the programme director of Digital Media Dr Joel McKim, and a chance to have your questions answered. 

Dr Joel Mckim will be providing an overview of the programme and structure and an introduction to his research and teaching. Joel's research focuses on spaces of political communication in the urban environment and the intersection of media technologies and architectural design. He is broadly interested in tracing lines of communication across human, material and ecological systems. 

Our MA Digital Media Management helps you explore both theoretical understandings and practical experiences on navigating the complex digital media landscape underpinning our current society. With a dual focus on developing, on the one hand, transdisciplinary expertise across media technology, content production, marketing and brand management, and on the other, creative entrepreneurship for your career in the digital media industry, the programme transforms you into an innovative digital media manager ready for the next generation. In this taster session, Dr Joel McKim will introduce the modules he teaches, including 'Digital Design Thinking' and 'Managing Digital Media'.
