The afternoon will be an opportunity to hear from the authors, Professor Almuth McDowall who is Professor of Organisational Psychology in the School of Psychological Sciences and Dr Nancy Doyle who is a visiting professor.

  • 15.25-15.45: Talk by Almuth: Why neurodiversity needs a psychological coaching approach
  • 15.45-16.15: Panel discussion, plus Q and A
  • 16.15-17.00: Book signing, nibbles and drinks

  • Dr Nancy Doyle -

    Nancy Doyle is a Visiting Professor at Birkbeck and a Chartered Psychologist in organisational and occupational psychology and the founder and owner of Genius Within CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to facilitating neurodiversity inclusion. Nancy is a consultant, coach and delivers workshops for clients in finance, technology and defence, supporting them to create inclusive workplaces where all neurominorities are able to reach their full potential.

  • Prof Almuth Mcdowall -

    Almuth is Professor of Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck University of London in the School of Psychological Sciences. Her research has been funded by Neurodiversity in Business, the Ministry of Defence, the College of Policing, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Home Office, as well as a range of other funders. Almuth has won awards for her research and her commitment to furthering the practice of psychology in the workplace in the UK. She regularly contributes to the media fuelled by her belief that research needs to speak to organisations directly to have impact and contemporary relevance.
