About the author:
Interdisciplinary artist and Cultural Manager Alejandro Clavier, of Venezuelan-Peruvian origin, engages in theatrical, audiovisual, and curatorial work. Since 2013, he has directed Sala de parto, a festival focused on women and LGBTQIIA + performing artists at Teatro La Plaza (Lima, Peru). His work has been featured at international festivals in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Panamá, Portugal and Northern Ireland. Notable projects include San Bartolo (2018), Aquellos dos (2022), and Buenas Noticias (2019-2023). Currently pursuing an MA in Arts Policy and Management at Birkbeck, University of London, he is a Chevening Scholarship recipient.
