The School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences welcome you to our Computing and Data Science undergraduate and postgraduate offer holder online session. This will be an opportunity to meet with your academic, Dr Keith Mannock, engage in a taster lecture, and have your questions answered.
The session is specifically for aspiring Computer Science and Data Science students. This session will present the fundamental concepts of programming using Python's clear and beginner-friendly syntax while also illustrating the diverse and complementary teaching methods we use in the programme. We'll delve into core topics like variables, data types, control flow, and functions, which indicate the skills you will acquire to build your first programs and solve problems with code.
