Birkbeck Law School academic skills workshop: Citing online sources using OSCOLA
When:
—
Venue:
Online
This workshop is for Birkbeck law students or Birkbeck students enrolled on a law module. Book your place in My Birkbeck / Events and Workshops (not sure how to do that? Watch this short video guide!). If you use the link above to book, please use your Birkbeck student email address to sign up - thanks!
Many of the sources we use in assessments at university are accessed online. However, this doesn’t mean that you can simply cite the web address of such sources when you cite them in your assessments. So how exactly do you cite sources you’ve found or accessed online? In this session, we’ll distinguish between resources housed online versus web pages, and consider how to go about citing these sources correctly in your assignments using OSCOLA, as well as how to find out how to cite different types of online sources.
