  • Are you a student in the School of Creative arts, Culture and Communication confused by or new to MHRA referencing?
  • Do you want to learn the basics of what MHRA referencing is, why we do it, and what it looks like?
  • Have you been told that you need to work on your referencing skills?

If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then join us for this introductory session on the basics of MHRA referencing. We'll consider what MHRA referencing is and why it's important for academic writing. We'll consider when you need to reference, as well as when you don't need to reference. Finally, we'll look at some different examples of MHRA referencing to understand what it  looks like in practice. Before attending the workshop, you may also wish to complete the online tutorial by Cardiff University titled  'MHRA Referencing'
