At our first T Level Practitioner Group meeting of the new academic year, chaired by Sultan Soukani, Assistant Principal, at HRUC, we be reflecting on the summer T Level results, the current picture in terms of HE entry requirements for T Level applicants and approaches to reduce non completion rates of learners.

Attendees will hear from a range of contributors, including awarding bodies and stakeholders, the Education and Training Foundation, and of course from partners themselves, who are delivering T Levels in their college, or providing outreach and IAG support for learners interested in going on to HE.

Suzanne Hall, Head of Sector Development at Pearson will be sharing an overview of this summer’s T Level results, the outcome of the Generation 2 Wave 1 T Levels as well as the latest developments at Pearson.

Our round table update will follow, which will provide an opportunity for our college and university partners to share news and developments as well as any issues faced, for discussion. The Education and Training Foundation will also be updating the group on their latest news and offer to colleges.

This will be followed by a group discussion item focusing on student retention and reducing dropout rates, exploring potential causes as well as solutions, including areas for possible collaboration.

And finally, colleagues at Linking London will then share the headlines from our mapping of T Level entry requirements for 16 HE subject areas at over 50 universities for 2025 entry, including comparisons with our 2024 mapping piece.

This practitioner group provides a unique opportunity to bring together our colleges, schools, universities, awarding body partners and key stakeholders, to explore T Level developments and explore areas for collaboration, and is aimed at both colleagues engaged in T Levels as well as anyone with an interest in finding out more about this new qualification.

Please note this event is for Linking London Partners only.
