This event will be an opportunity to discuss the outcomes of an AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) -funded four-year research project, Translation and Translanguaging: Investigating Linguistic and Cultural Transformations in Superdiverse Wards in Four UK Cities, which investigates how people communicate in everyday encounters in multilingual and multicultural London. It will promote exchange between policy-makers, practitioners and academics in the area of business, art, sport and advocacy. Presentation of research outcomes will be followed by project highlights and a roundtable discussion of implications for policy and practice in the city and ways forward.

Apart from the project report, confirmed speakers include Counsellor of Political Division, Embassy of the Republic of Poland, Roma Support Group and Artist Ella McCartney.
