Academic English: Spoken vs Written Communication

This 9 week programme of online sessions are to support students for whom English is an additional language and need to develop their confidence in communicating in a variety of academic contexts. They are delivered as both stand-alone workshops or as part of a series so students may attend as many or as few as they find neccesary.
We will explore and discuss key features in academic writing, developing argument, critical reading and writing and communication skills in a variety of academic contexts. Come along to these highly supportive and friendly sessions and please feel free to ask relevant questions you may have.
