There’s been ongoing uncertainty about the future of BTECs, since the last governments plans to defund most Applied General Qualifications that overlap with T Levels. Labour’s short, focused review of level 3 qualifications, due to be published by the end of the autumn term, is expected to finally bring some clarity for sixth form and FE college providers in terms of their curriculum offer for 2025-26.

Join us on the 14th as we unpack the details of the review and what it means for providers in the year ahead, with inputs from by Ria Bhatta, Head of Stakeholder Engagement Pearson and Noni Csogor, Research and Policy Manager, from the Sixth Form Colleges Association. This will be followed by a discussion with school and college partners on what next following the review outcomes and preparations for 2025-26.

This meeting is aimed at HE and FE academic and admissions staff, advisers and widening participation staff and those with a responsibility for induction, retention and success. However, anyone with an interest in BTEC learners and progression to HE is welcome to attend.

Please note this event is for Linking London Partners only.
