Including a screening of Grant’s new videographic study Making Fiction Flow [2024], on film continuity as women’s work, co-authored with Melanie Bell, and excerpts from two other recent commissioned video essays, Yield To The Blonde - Diana Dors' Screen Styles 1946-1956 (2023); and Cinematic Organisms: Memories & Memorialisation (2022). All of these videographic works have involved the re-use of pre-existing audio recordings of people - moviegoers, actors, film production personnel - discussing their film-related memories, including from Annette Kuhn’s Cinema Culture in 1930s Britain project; and Melanie Bell and Vicky Ball’s Women’s Work in British Film and Television 1933-1989.
