Mathematical Sciences Seminar - Secrecy for elections. Getting it right and making use of it
When:
—
Venue:
Birkbeck Main Building, Malet Street
No booking required
In this talk, I will explore how our understanding of secrecy for elections has evolved over time, culminating in the emergence a formal, cryptographic definition. I will then make use of such effort by showing how to construct secret auctions from secret elections, unifying two large areas of research.
