Join us for an engaging Masterclass exploring how data and technology can drive sustainable solutions in the energy sector. Learn from Octopus Energy, a leader in data-driven energy innovation, and discover how energy utilities, efficiency, and net-zero strategies can be made accessible and equitable for all communities.
You’ll develop core skills in inclusive data literacy, behavioural change through data, and visionary thinking for sustainability, empowering you to tackle real-world challenges.
In the second part of the workshop, Holly Jones (Sustainability and Energy Manager, Birkbeck Estates) and Kostan Banos (Senior Consultant for Net Zero, LCMB) will guide you as you create actionable, data-informed solutions for Birkbeck University’s net-zero journey. Using Birkbeck as a case study, you’ll work collaboratively to imagine and design a sustainable campus of the future, considering the role of data, technology, and inclusive decision-making.
Through hands-on activities, this session will also encourage participants to reflect on who has access to sustainability solutions and how diverse perspectives can strengthen energy transition strategies.
