The Man Who Painted his House
When:

Venue:

David Parr was a Victorian 'art-workman' who worked for leading designers including William Morris. This event screens a new essay film by Vicky Mills and Lily Ford, 'The Man Who Painted His House', which examines Parr's life, work and the extraordinary hand-painted interiors of his own home in Cambridge. Followed by a panel discussion and drinks. This event is run in association with the Birkbeck Centre for Nineteenth-Century Studies and the Derek Jarman Lab.
Join Vicky Mills, Lily Ford and other panellists - and share your thoughts on Victorian art and work, painted homes and much more.
