For this session we are joined by Jonathan, who is a Principal Engineer at Legend, dedicated to building inclusive teams and scalable systems. With experience in technical and leadership roles—including Principal Engineer at RVU and Engineering Manager at Beamly—he understands the challenges neurodivergent individuals face in tech.
Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, Jonathan has launched Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support underrepresented voices. He mentors and coaches individuals on self-presentation, interview preparation, and workplace adjustments, empowering them to thrive in the industry.
In his talk, he will cover:
Personal Experience: His journey as a neurodivergent engineer and key lessons learned.
Interview Accommodations: How to request reasonable adjustments during interviews and what to expect.
Evaluating Companies: Tips for assessing whether a company’s culture and practices align with your needs.
Starting Strong: Strategies for settling into a new role and collaborating with your manager for ongoing support.
This event will be run as part of a live lecture so attendance will be only ONLINE! Sign Up Here
