Russian theatre director Anastasia Patlay returns to Birkbeck for a rare masterclass on her work with historical documents in performance. As curator of the Sakharov Centre’s ongoing performance programme, Patlay will speak about their use of archival materials onstage and the complexities of performing the Soviet past in the present.
