The Department of Philosophy welcomes incoming students on its postgraduate research programmes: MRes, and MPhil/PhD Philosophy.
The Postgraduate Research & MRes programmes director will introduce the department, present an overview of the research programmes, what to expect and how your progress will be assessed, and give advice on engaging with the research community and making the most of your studies at Birkbeck.
The induction will be followed by a postgraduate and research welcome social, to be held downstairs from the induction in B02, where there will be drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to talk with fellow students and members of the department.
