To engage well with a research community, we need solid research skills and a network of collaborators who surface the best of our abilities. Yet, we often end up overlooked when the members of our research communities are not clear about who we are and what we do as researchers, missing opportunities to influence important debates and to benefit from career enhancing opportunities. With this in mind, the aim of this professional development workshop is to help researchers understand how to communicate their research qualities to enhance their reputation within their research community.
What will you get from participating in this workshop?
In this workshop, you will learn:
- How to define your own personal brand as a researcher
- Which types of branding strategies suit you as a researcher
