Welcome Fair from 9:30am onwards
This event is for new and continuing students.
New students will be invited to an introductory session with an Academic from your school, along with Study Skills and Student Services. Once you have booked, you will be sent an email confirming your allocated time slot, which will be either 10am or 11am.

Start the day by grabbing a refreshment in room G14 in Malet Street before heading off to enjoy your chosen activities. Later, why not have a well-priced delicious lunch in the Terrace Five restaurant on the fifth-floor of the Malet St building. In the afternoon, experience the many stalls, workshops and events designed to introduce you to the wealth of services that will form the bedrock of your Birkbeck experience.
The Met Police will be on-site during the day, offering security markings for your bike. Bike parking spaces are available at the front of the Malet St building, opposite the ramp, and also at the front of the Birkbeck Central building.

- 11:00 am - 16:00 pm - Welcome Fair (Student Societies, Sports Clubs, Students' Union Services, University Wellbeing Services, University Academic Services, University Careers Service, Library Tours, LinkedIn Headshots).
- 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm - Archives talks relating to 200th anniversary (second of four talks)
- 12:30 pm - 13:30 pm - Essay and assignment writing
- 12:30 pm - 13:30 pm - Procrastination, perfectionism and prioritisation
- 12:30 pm - 15:00 pm - Complete your Disabled Students’ Allowance Application Form (30-minute drop-ins at 12:30, 1.30, 2.30)
