The aims of this session are to provide information about the Diversity100 studentships which are currently available as well as an overview of the PhD application process. During the session you can find out more about:
- Diversity100 studentships and funding provided
- What you need to do to be considered for a Diversity100 studentship
- How Diversity100 scholars are selected
- The PhD application process and the time required
- Advice about how to identify potential supervisors
- A chance to raise any questions you have about Diversity 100 studentships or about any other aspect of embarking on doctoral research.
Who is running this session?
The session is organised by the Birkbeck Graduate Research School and Dr William Ackah. One of the curent Diversity 100 students will be available to talk about their experience as a doctoral researcher at Birkbeck.
Who is this session for?
The session is for anyone who is eligible to apply for a Diversity100 studentship and who is considering applying. These events are also designed to provide information for those who are considering whether to study for a doctorate in the future as well as those who are actively applying for a place on a doctoral programme.
