Undergraduate Entry Requirements
Applicants from Morocco who have taken the شهادة†ال†ب†كال†وري†ا† (Diplôme du Baccalauréat) will normally require a Foundation course for entry onto undergraduate programmes at the university. These offer the opportunity for guaranteed progression onto Birkbeck’s Bachelor programmes.
Applicants with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-levels will be considered for direct admission to our undergraduate degree programmes. IB requirements range from 28 to 30, depending on the course.
Postgraduate Entry Requirements
To be considered for entry onto a Master’s degree at Birkbeck, you must have completed a دب†لوم†ال†مدر†سة†ال†وط†ن†ية†ل†ل†تجارة†وال†ت†س†ي†ير† (Diplôme d'Écoles Nationales de Commerce et de Gestion) or a الإج†ازة† (Licence/Licence d'Études Fondamentales/Licence Professionnelle) or a دب†لوم†ال†طور†ال†عادي† (Diplôme du Cycle Normal) or a دب†لوم†مه†ندس†دول†ة (Diplôme d'Ingénieur d'État) from a recognised university.
Please note that all applications are considered on an individual basis and you may be admitted to a Master's programme with a lower-level degree if you have work experience relevant to the degree applied for.
If you do not meet these criteria, you can apply for OnCampus' Master's Foundation programme, which is available for 2- or 3-term progression onto a wide range of Master’s degrees at Birkbeck.
Moroccan degree classification:
- 16-20 (alternative name: Tres bien; English translation or equivalent: 1st)
- 14-15 (alternative name: Bien; English translation or equivalent: 2:1)
- 12-13 (alternative name: Assez bien; English translation or equivalent: 2:2).
