Birkbeck has been rated within the world’s top 100 institutions for English and Philosophy in the 2017 QS World University Rankings by Subject, published today [8 March 2017].

Birkbeck has been rated number one in the country for overall course satisfaction in five subject areas, according to the 2016 National Student Survey (NSS), announced today (10 August).

Birkbeck lecturer Dr Akane Kawakami's book Patrick Modiano has recently been published by Liverpool University Press.
Birkbeck’s School of Arts has been rated no.1 in the UK by students for their teaching
