The School of Arts at Birkbeck College, University of London is now accepting applications for the 2019-20 AHRC CHASE PhD studentships.

Dr Dionyssis Dimitrakopoulos from Birkbeck’s Department of Politics has co-written a book with Argyris Passas, Associate Professor from Panteion University entitled ‘The Depoliticisation of Greece’s Public Revenue Administration’.

Birkbeck will celebrate the achievements of its graduating class across three days of ceremonies this November, and welcome five new Fellows to the College.
Dr Stacie Friend will be visiting Seoul National University in Korea from the 30th of October until the 8th of November.
Birkbeck has signed the Fair Chance for Students with Convictions pledge and altered its admissions policies to help people with past criminal convictions access university education.
She is one of 65 academics, practitioners and policymakers who have been recognised by the Academy of Social Sciences for their substantial contribution and leadership in the social sciences.
Applications are now open for funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
